The Teen Choice Awards are just around the corner, and CelebGossip is excited! Last year, celebs hit the blue carpet with awesome styles and different looks! Couples stayed close, family and friends were brought along for the fun, and the celebs struck a pose for the photogs. What will this year's TCA's bring? No one knows yet, but with great nominees and an amazing line-up of performances, it's gotta be great! So to get you all back in to the TCA spirit, here's a flashback of the 2008 TCA's!
Blue Carpet
There were tons of fashion variety as stars hit the blue carpet of the Teen Choice Awards last year. From cute mini dresses and strappy heels, to suade boots and jeans, all the stars looked awesome! Even JB rocked it out!
The Host
Last year's host was the one and only, Miley Cyrus! She completely rocked the job and was super excited for it! She even brought her mom Tish and little sister Noah for some support.
Performers!
The 2008 TCA's had an awesome line-up of performers, including a super special event. Single performers included Miley (singing "7 Things") and Mariah Carey (singing "I'll Be Lovin' U Long Time"). After that, there was a dance competition between ACDC Crew and M&M Cru (Miley and Mandy Jiroux). It was an action pakced night with tons of entertainment, and CelebGossip thinks the 2009 TCA's won't be much different! (except for the dance crews) LOL!
Miley and Mandy's M&M Cru was challenged by the ACDC Crew to a dance competition. Miley's videos were posted on YouTube and what better place to host the competition than the TCA's?

There's your flashback at last year's Teen Choice Awards! CelebGossip is looking foward to the show this year too! The TCA's are taking place at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal CityWalk in Los Angeles on Sunday, August 9th, but are premiering on television Monday, August 10th. Catch the show on your local FOX network at 8PM eastern time, 7PM central time, 6PM mountain time, and 5PM pacific time. (USA time zones)
